About

The Reproductive Righteousness Project examines how reproductive politics are powerfully central within resurging far-right movements worldwide. We are feminist scholars who collaboratively theorize expressions of what we call “reproductive righteousness.” Our work is interdisciplinary, comparative, and global in scope. Our approach incorporates intersectional feminist, queer, and reproductive justice perspectives to investigate diverse expressions of this trend–from abortion bans, to prohibitions on queer adoption, to promotions of “natural” birth–across different contexts in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
